Sailing in Agiokampos

The region of Larissa is a very beautiful part of mainland Greece, located on the eastern side of the country, above the famous Pelion peninsula. Similar to Pelion, this part of Larissa is very mountainous and perfect combines with the clear blue sea of the Aegean.

There are a number of lovely traditional villages in the region, such as Skiti, which is where the Ios Traditional Guesthouse is located. A short distance from there is the beautiful coastal resort of Agiokampos.

Here you will find a gorgeous sandy beach, which is the most popular beach in the Larissa region and is the ideal place to head to for swimming or simply relaxing under the sun.

The beach of Agiokammpos, and those of Sotiritsa and Velika combine to create a unique beach that is over 10 km in length. The area here during the summer months is filled with visitors from all over Greece as well as many other parts of Europe.
