Rafting at the Tempi Valley! A route of exceptional beauty in one of the most important natural sights of Greece!

The natural and imposing pass that is run through by the multi-singed Peneus river, with many references in the Greek mythology, according to which the Muses chose Peneus as their residence, god Apollo chased the nymph Daphne, Aphrodite was visiting every time she wanted to regain her chastity, while Apollo beat the “Darkness” at the river.

We are rafting at the Tempi Valley and enjoy nature in all its greatness! Rich vegetation and perennial plane trees that serve as a shelter for herons, flamingos and cormorants.

We pass under the suspension bridge of Tempi next to ancient sites of worship and the traditional Dristella. During our descent we have the choice to make a stop at Aghia Paraskevi for a visit at the “Holy Water”.

Rafting at the Tempi Valley

Our descent to the Tempi Valley is ideal for a first experience in rafting. With passings of 1st and 2nd degree difficulty it is suitable for families, beginners, children and senior people. After the completion of the activity we can try our skills in the sport of archery. Afterwards we enjoy a tasty meal at the banks of the river.

This specific activity is also combined with wine tasting in a winery at the Tempi valley and a visit to the historical village of Ampelakia.
